About Event

Join MillGens to hear from happiness expert, Prof Paul Dolan who will talk about escaping the myth of the perfect life.

Prof Paul Dolan will draw on his 2019 book Happy Ever After to discuss how the stories we’re told about how to live one’s life are not always a pathway to happiness.

Paul is currently Professor of Behavioural Science at the LSE. He is Head of Department in Psychological and Behavioural Science and Director of Executive MSc Behavioural Science. Paul is the best-selling author of the book, Happiness by Design, which Nobel Prize winner Daniel Kahneman described as ‘bold and original’. Paul’s second book, Happy Ever After, launched to critical acclaim in 2019. He is an internationally renowned expert on happiness, behaviour and public policy and conducts original research into the measurement of happiness, its causes and consequences.”
